The Association of European Border Regions (AEBR), Central European Service for Cross-border Initiatives Balkans (CESCI Balkans), The Institute of International Sociology of Gorizia (ISIG) and CESCI (Hungary) organized the 10th International Youth Forum in Tivat between 30-31 May. The event, financed by Danube Strategic Project Fund within the framework of the SECCo2 project was attended by 120 participants from all over the Danube and Adriatic Ionian macro-regions. On 22nd and 23rd May, within the framework of the project facilitating the legal harmonisation between the Visegrad countries, the representatives of the cooperating partners and the ministries of the four countries visited Copenhagen and Malmö. The objective of the study visit was to get to know about the work and internal mechanisms of the Freedom of Movement Council established by the Nordic Council in 2014. On the 16th of May Falk 1 Event center housed the final episode of our seminar series on cross-border governance. Olivier T. Kramsch, assistant professor at Radboud University, illustrated the field's theoretical dilemmas with current political-historical examples in his lecture titled "After the 'B/ordering Turn': Cross-Border Governance in a Time of Walls, Fences, and more Walls".//2018.05.28.
On the 24th of April our colleague presented the SECCo2 project, funded by the Danube Strategic Project Fund, in Vienna, at the Steering Group meeting of the PA10 "Institutional Capacity" of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region.
